Ankarsrum Original AKM 6230 Essential Package Mixer Light Creme

The Essential Package is the Assistent Original in Light Creme with everything you need to knead, whip and mix: the 7 L stainless steel bowl, Dough Roller, Dough Knife, Dough Hook, Spatula, Proofing Lid and a digital book of 34 recipes. It is the bread baker’s setup, and the Assistent grows from there with optional attachments for pasta, ice cream, grinding meat, shredding vegetables, juicing citrus and more.

The motor adjusts its power to the load, and the gear drive stays quiet while it works. As the stainless bowl turns, the signature Dough Roller presses ingredients against the side of the bowl, the way hands knead, and it whips cream and egg whites just as well. The included Dough Hook pulls rather than spins, for dense rye, wholemeal, bagel and brioche doughs. One knob sets the speed, the other is the on/off switch and a 12 minute timer. The 7 L bowl holds up to 5 kg (11 lb) of dough and 1.5 L of liquid. 120 V, 600 W, cast aluminium body, removable power cord, 7 year warranty on the machine base.

Use & care: Use the Dough Knife with the roller or hook to keep pushing dough back to the middle of the bowl so everything is worked in evenly. Cover the bowl with the Proofing Lid while dough rises so it does not dry out. Wash the bowl and tools in warm soapy water and dry them straight away; wipe the base with a damp cloth and never immerse it.
