Their story →A cheese curler for shaving Tête de Moine into thin, ruffled rosettes, the traditional way to serve it. Five pins on the base keep the cheese firmly in place while you turn the oak handle. It works on chocolate discs too, for curls to finish a dessert, and comes apart quickly for washing and storage.
The curler is made from European oak and stainless steel and is solid enough to sit steady on the table as you turn it. Boska is a family company from Bodegraven in the Netherlands, started by Willem Bos in 1896 and now in its fourth generation.
Use & care: take the curler apart after use, wash the parts by hand in warm, soapy water and towel dry straight away; do not put it in the dishwasher or leave the oak to soak. If the wood starts to look pale or dry, rub in a few drops of food-safe board oil and let it soak in overnight.
