Their story →A compact cheese slicer, about 15 cm long, that shaves thin slices from young to aged cheese. It is just as handy for cucumber, carrot and other firm vegetables, and its small size suits a cheese board or a crowded drawer. A diamond pattern on the blade helps each slice glide off.
Monaco+ is made entirely of stainless steel, handle and blade alike, for a clean, modern look on the table. Across the knives and blade slicers, a waffle or diamond pattern and a non-stick treatment help cheese release from the steel rather than cling to it. Boska is a family company from Bodegraven in the Netherlands, started by Willem Bos in 1896 and now in its fourth generation.
Use & care: Monaco+ is dishwasher safe; for the best shine, take it out at the end of the cycle and towel dry, or wash by hand in warm, soapy water. Rinse soon after use so cheese does not dry into the pattern on the blade. If water spots appear, a wipe with a soft cloth and a little white vinegar brings the steel back.
