From the maker
Fired by Emile Henry in Marcigny, France. Six generations of Burgundy clay since 1850.
Their story →A large, heavy utensil pot with room for the full set of everyday tools, from spatulas and ladles to whisks and wooden spoons, all within reach of the stove. Clay is a warm, natural earth tone that suits almost any kitchen. The size suits a busy kitchen where the long-handled tools live on the counter.
Emile Henry has made ceramics in Burgundy, France, since 1850, and its utensil pots are made from the same HR® ceramic as its ovenware. The weight is the point: the pot sits heavy and stable on the counter even when only half full, so a ladle or a whisk does not tip it over. The glaze resists scratches and keeps its colour through the dishwasher and strong detergents.
Use & care: dishwasher safe, or wash by hand in warm soapy water and dry before refilling. Empty the pot now and then and wipe out the inside, as crumbs and drips tend to collect at the bottom.
