Made in Germany.
The jack-of-all-trades of the EPICURE series conquers any challenge – from cutting an accurate julienne to disassembling venison.
WUSTHOF Epicure is a paragon of high-quality cutlery, made with two philosophies in mind: to have the durability and safety of German cutlery, and the lightness and sharpness of Japanese cutlery. The blade, bolster, and tang and are forged from a single piece of steel, creating a durable tool with a long service life. WUSTHOF’s high-carbon stainless steel holds a razor sharp 15° edge, and stays sharp for up to 30% longer than other steels. Each blade is designed to have a wider shape, allowing you to put more weight into the cut while increasing safety and ease of use. The extra surface area also helps transport food to the pot or pan quickly and cleanly.
The natural-feeling handle looks like walnut, but is made of durable wood composite and resin, ground down to smoothly and comfortably fit your hand. The ergonomic shape is contoured to adapt to the natural contraction of the hand; it’s wider in the front third, then tapered towards the back. This shape supports both a wide grip and a leading grip (also known as a pinch grip) comfortably, so you have more control and less fatigue.
