A single piece of high-carbon stainless steel is used to forge the blade of the Wusthof Classic 8” Bread knife, and formed with serrated edges to easily slice through thick crusts and rinds without damaging the soft, delicate insides of breads and other foods. While adept at cutting large loaves, the knife also excels with cakes, fruits, and fried food, with a triangular tip to help make it versatile for various tasks.
