This fine blade offers a tapered V shape that’s ideal for slicing and chopping fruits and vegetables. Shred lettuce or cabbage, slice carrots, mince and dice nearly any kind of food. The flat of the blade is perfect for crushing garlic or transporting chopped foods from the cutting board to awaiting pots, pans or plates. It is important to note that a chinese cleaver is a thin blade that is not used for chopping through bones. This blade should be used for vegetables or very tender cuts of meat without bone.
