Their story →The Wusthof Partner 8-inch Chef's Knife is the workhorse of the series, sized for everything from dicing onions to breaking down a squash. The curved edge rocks smoothly for fast chopping, and the blade holds its sharpness through heavy daily use.
Like every knife in the series, it is forged from a single piece of X50CrMoV15 high carbon stainless steel, hardened to 58 on the Rockwell scale, and finished with a half bolster so the entire edge can be sharpened. The full tang runs the length of the durable synthetic handle for balance and stability. Each knife passes through roughly 50 production steps and 20 quality checks in Solingen, Germany, and carries Wusthof's lifetime warranty.
