The largest single-handle saucepan in the range, for soup, stock and larger batches. Geo is seven layers bonded from the base all the way up the wall, not a disc stuck on the bottom. The stack runs 18-0 stainless on the outside, five layers of aluminium and aluminium alloy through the middle, and 18-8 stainless on the cooking face. Heat moves sideways as well as up, so the wall cooks as much as the base. The lid is ground flush, and the steam it traps forms a water seal, which is what makes cooking vegetables with almost no added water work. Miyazaki back the line for fifteen years.
