    Excellent Frying Pan

    I ordered a 10in de Buyer Mineral Frying Pan from Kitchen Virtue because I wanted to replace my teflon frying pan.

    After 10 months of using it, I am very pleased with its performance. Right after the first seasoning it becomes virtually non-stick. It heats up quickly and it retains heat very well for the perfect sear on meat. It is very durable and without a doubt it will last a lifetime.

    I would've wanted a larger size because the actual cooking surface of the 10in is less. The cooking surface is more like 7-1/2" but it is still large enough to pan fry 2 pieces of chicken at a time.

    The uncomfortable handle however leaves something to be desired. That's why a star was taken off in this review.
